Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mod Tracker. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You choose your own username, which becomes part of your public profile URL (modtracker.app/yourusername). Usernames must not impersonate others, infringe on trademarks, or be offensive or misleading. Usernames can be changed later from your dashboard; if you change your username, your old profile link will automatically redirect to your new one.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post: vehicle photos, build descriptions, mod details, and anything else you add to your garage.

By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service (i.e., showing your public garage page to visitors).

You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to anything you post. Don't post content that:

• Infringes on someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights
• Is illegal, harassing, or fraudulent
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Contains malware or attempts to compromise the Service

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Purchase links

Mod Tracker lets you add links to where you purchased or sourced a modification (for example, a link to a part on a retailer's site). These links are provided by users for informational purposes only. We don't verify, endorse, or receive compensation from these links, and we're not responsible for the content of external sites they lead to.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Free plan: Includes one vehicle at no cost, with unlimited mods, photos, and work log entries on that vehicle.

Pro plan: $4.99/month, billed automatically until canceled, unlocks unlimited vehicles.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your dashboard. When you cancel, you keep full Pro access through the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again, and access doesn't end immediately.

What happens after Pro access ends: If you have more than one vehicle when your Pro access ends (whether from cancellation or a failed payment), your oldest vehicle stays free and fully public. Any additional vehicles become locked: hidden from public visitors, but still fully intact and visible to you in your own dashboard. Re-subscribing immediately unlocks and re-publishes them. Nothing is deleted.

Refunds: We don't offer refunds or credits for partial billing periods.

Price changes: We may change subscription pricing with advance notice. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute other users' content without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent the free tier limits

7. Account deletion and termination

You can request deletion of your account at any time from your dashboard, by typing your username to confirm. When you do:

• Your public profile and vehicle pages are taken offline immediately
• Any active subscription is canceled immediately
• Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted 30 days after your request

If you change your mind during that 30-day window, contact us right away so we can reverse the deletion before it becomes permanent.

We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, at our discretion.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ModTracker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
